Bill - Hon. Arvie Joy Arce
THIRD YOUTH CONGRESS
Baguio City, Philippines
First Regular Session
House Bill No.___
Introduced By Hon. Arvie Joy Arce
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Act seeks to require all Construction and Mining Companies to provide Health services and benefits to the construction and mining workers.
This Act promotes the protection and safety of the construction and mining workers. As we know, their job is mostly risky and dangerous. It’s sad to think that though they are one of those risking their lives in building establishments, they don’t often get services and benefits being given to other employees. There are many cases where accidents happen and the workers don’t receive benefits from their employers.
This Act seeks to prevent situations like these and promotes the safety of our workers.
Accordingly, approval of this bill is earnestly sought.
